The new version of Trisquel distro sports Linux kernel 3.13.

Saturday, November 08, 2014 The all new version of Linux distribution Trisquel is out. The LTS version of the distro has been released by Free Software Foundation. The distribution is based on Ubuntu and Trisquel is the only GNU/Linux distribution to feature 100 per cent free version. Trisquel 7 is based on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

Trisquel is promoted by Richard Stallman and Free Software Foundation. It rejects all paid firmwares, drivers and applications suggested by Ubuntu.
